Terms of Service

What you get

• A website solution: a finished website design.
• Access to its online editor, unlocked with the license key from your purchase, where you fill in your content and download or publish your website.
• The website files you download or publish from the editor.

Your license: one website per purchase

Each purchase is a license for one website: your own, or one business’s. You can edit, update and republish it as often as you like, and host it wherever you want.

You may not:

• use one purchase for more than one website. For another website, including one for a client, buy another license;
• resell, share or give away the design or its files (for example as a ready-made design for others to use), or offer them on a marketplace;
• share your license key with others.

The design itself (its layout, code and graphics) remains PageMelo’s. Please keep the credit notes in the files’ code; they aren’t shown to your visitors.

Your content

Everything you add (your words, photos, logos and links) stays yours. You’re responsible for having the right to use it, and for keeping your website lawful. PageMelo doesn’t see or store it.

The editor

• The editor works in an up-to-date web browser. Your work is kept in that browser and in the zip you download. Keep your latest zip: if your browser’s data is cleared, the draft in it is gone, and we can’t recover it.
• We may improve or change the editor over time. We work to keep it available, but can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted.

Publishing and hosting

Your website is hosted in your own Netlify account, under Netlify’s terms. Netlify’s plans, limits and any charges are between you and Netlify, and we don’t control their service. Your published website keeps working without PageMelo: it’s yours.

Payments and refunds

• Payments are made through Gumroad, by card or PayPal. Prices are shown before you buy.
• Because you get instant access to a digital product, all sales are final and we don’t offer refunds, except where the law requires otherwise.
• If something doesn’t work as described, email hello@pagemelo.com and we’ll help put it right.

License keys

If a purchase is refunded or its payment is reversed (for example a chargeback), its license key stops working, and we may switch off a license key that has been shared publicly. Your already-published website is not affected.

Warranty and liability

PageMelo is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses (such as lost business or lost data), and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the purchase concerned.

Changes and governing law

If we change these terms, we’ll update this page and the date at the top; the terms in force when you bought apply to that purchase. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
